Environment Mission Statement:
Pederson's is committed to responsible use of our land and growing systems.
- Our irrigation pond is is located in an area that collects water from upper areas of our land. It is piped into our irrigation system, and provides a natural cocktail of minerals important to maintaining healthy (and happy) plant material. (It also provides a good home for our share of frogs!
- We are sustainable growers. Our plants are fed with worm castings, kelp meal and worm castings tea to give them the super strength they need to move into customers' gardens and landscapes.
- In addition, we purchase plants from environmentally-responsible suppliers, who are dedicated to serving local, independent garden centers exclusively. This insures the upscale plant quality we want for our customers.
- We use re-cycled pots, and continue to make the transition to environmentally- acceptable containers. We serve as a recycling source for customers' containers.
- Our garden center has been certified as a National Backyard Wildlife Habitat. It makes us proud!

Children & Pets:
The garden center staff encourages customers to bring their children and pets.
Play area... Sandlot... Children's patio... frog pond. Places to go and fun things to do!
There are leashes and water bowls on hand to keep our animal friends comfortable. There are paths to walk and places to run.
We are all animal lovers here, so they will get plenty of kind attention.

Little Café and Courtyard:
- Free coffee, tea and home-made treats are available throughout business hours.
- Lunch is available on Event days from 11 a.m. - 2 p.m.
- Enjoy refreshments in the adjoining courtyard in nice weather or 'eat in' during inclement weather.
- The 'Little Café' is modern, comfortable and customers tell us it's cute.
- Modern, clean restroom is available for customers' comfort.
